Who WIll You Let Hold you

Welcome to my diary!

This song is quite literally a diary entry I wrote about my high school boyfriend/first breakup. Not only was this my way of processing all the emotions I was feeling, but I also was able to acknowledge all my own shortcomings and how I was choosing to move forward.

The chorus asks the question: “Who will you let hold you?” At the end of all the heartbreak and pain, where do you find your rest? While this question has changed in meaning for me throughout the years, I hope it offers you some comfort and challenges you to ask that question: when everything falls apart, who will you let hold you?
